Safety Tips
The safety of our community is our top priority. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner, these tips will help you enjoy every run with peace of mind.
Before Your Run
- Always let someone know your route and expected return time.
- Check the weather before heading out and dress accordingly.
- Charge your phone and keep it with you.
- Review other runners' profiles and ratings before joining a session.
- For first meetings, choose busy, public locations.
During Your Run
- Stick to well-known, marked routes — especially on first sessions with someone new.
- Wear reflective clothing or a headlamp in low-light conditions.
- Stay aware of your surroundings: avoid listening to music at high volume.
- Stay hydrated, especially in warm weather.
- If you feel unwell, stop and call emergency services.
Meeting a Runner for the First Time
